Before applying

European Union Flag I'm based outside of Europe - can I still apply?

We do prioritise candidates based in Europe as we want to keep, at least, 80% of our team there. We gather 2-4 times per year, so reducing having our team closer together helps keep our CO2 footprint low.

If you are personally planning to relocate to Europe (or any other location where we're willing and able to hire) and will be legally able to work in this location, you may apply. Bear in mind, Slite doesn't support visa or relocation processes.

Round Pushpin Do you have Headquarters in Europe?

No, we are 100% remote.

Ticket I need Slite sponsor my visa - Is it an option?

At this time, we are not sponsoring visas.

3️⃣ Which English level do I need to work at Slite?

Upper-Intermediate to advanced. You should be able to communicate fluently, especially in customer-facing roles. We have a diverse team from different locations (France, Netherlands, US, Argentina, etc.) and English is our common language for daily communication.

Money Bag What should I reply about my salary expectations on the application form?

Our salary ranges vary depending on level and location. We try to be as fair as we can with all our employees. Your salary expectations aren't determinative for the process. If they are below or above our ranges we will let you know.
Please, check out the salary ranges we are managing for open roles below. We make offers anywhere in these bands commensurate with experience.

World Map I can't find my country on the salary ranges above...

Bear in mind that:
We don't hire in all locations,
We might not have public data for your specific location yet,
We are trying our best to hire in hubs, making sure we bring newcomers based in countries where we already have Sliters. We might narrow down our search to a few locations to accomplish this.

In any case, do not hesitate to ask during your interviews or by email, and don't let that missing info prevent you from applying.

Star-Struck None of the open positions listed match my skills or interests - Can I send my application anyway?

In general, a process has 6 stages:

Take home test → a challenge to test your technical skills.

Working at Slite

Raising Hands What's it like to work at Slite?

Remote work
We started Slite remotely in 2017 and never looked back.
It works thanks to our strong written culture and our regular cadence of in-person meetings, about every two to four months.
Written culture
Writing long form allows us to drive thoughtful discussions around key topics. Documenting our work helps us reduce meetings and create our team's collective memory.
Transparency
Our work is shared and open by default in Slite. It makes each of us more autonomous, and removes frictions that come with remote collaboration.
Async work, with real interactions
Working async provides us with more flexibility, and makes everyone owner of their time and work.
Still, we are humans at work. We believe in real life interactions, 1:1 video calls, ideation meetings are all crucial to building trusting, long lasting relationships.
